Les was born in Bristow, OK but was raised in the Antioch/Brentwood area. After graduating from Liberty High school in l961, where he was active in football and track, he married his high school sweetheart, Pam Bevil. In 1969 he was hired as a policeman for the Brentwood Police Department retiring in 1994 as a Lieutenant. After 24 years with Brentwood PD he worked several years for the Brentwood School District. He was an avid 49er and Giant's fan. He loved to share his strategies on picking the ponies at Gold Gate Fields and making people laugh. But, above and beyond, he was a dedicated family man and he loved the community of Brentwood. We will miss him.
